thought for today: Trust

There is a calming that comes over you when you know God has your back in a specific time of need. You ask n believe it will be received. That is called spiritual trust... Letting go and Letting God. When we move out of our own way we make room for the miracles to find us!

Thought for Today: THANKS GIVING

Tis the season to give thanks and give to those that are in need. Sometimes we get so busy in our daily lives that we forget just how abundant we truly are. We take for granted the things that are "always" there in our daily lives... Running water, stable roof over our heads, refrigerator, toilets, heat and air conditioning, a warm bed, pillows - you get the point! And then consider your health and the worth of: walking, talking, hearing, your healthy heart that pumps life into daily, your kidneys, liver, and the other organs that keep you alive daily. This my friends is WEALTH... when you have your HEALTH, a HOME, a JOB, FAMILY & good FRIENDS you are BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE. This week be grateful for ALL you DO have and release the wants you may have because you have all you NEED! GIVE something to someone you know that is NEED of something - a kind word, a smile, or more... you decide!

Love and Light to you all!

Thought for Today: FAITH

We all have troubles and worries, trials and tests that we encounter each day. Its a part of this life we live. It is how we respond to the trials and tests, the troubles and worries that determine our happiness and future! When you live in faith you live in trust that you are exactly where you are suppose to be at this moment. All is well and will be well when you leave the worry behind and walk forward in Faith!

Thought For Today: Spirituality - a Calling of the SOUL

People confused being spiritual and being religious. The Spirit is within you - you soul.
Religion is on the outside hoping to get in.
Church is not a place you go to - it is a place within you that you go from....

The best definition and the differences I could find about spirituality and religion:
  • One is about a passive past (Religion) and the other is about an active present (Spirituality).
  • One is man made (Religion) and the other is made for man (Spirituality)
Find your SOUL today - go within and feel it - if you let it it will guide your every move!

Thought For Today: EMBRACE

The definition of Embrace is:
to hold (someone) closely in one's arms, especially as a sign of affection.
Embrace yourself today. Give yourself a hug and affection that you deserve. You made it through another week of work, stress, kids, spouse, illness & so much more. Look in the mirror and tell yourself how awesome you are and that you love yourself. When you truly love yourself and appreciate yourself all of your relationships will follow!

Thought For Today: FULL MOON

The full moon is a time of positive opportunity if you use it correctly.  It can increase your positive energy or conversely, it can wreak havoc on your emotions.

Since the full moon pours down a tremendous amount of energy, you must be in a calm state of mind to receive a positive effect. Remember that whatever is going on in your body, mind and spirit will be amplified.

If you are angry, you will feel angrier or if you are happy, you will feel happier. During the full moon, the ocean swells and emergency rooms have more patients. The energy is very powerful so it’s important to direct it with positive intention.

Crazy energy as well as loving energy will be intensified. Knowing this is a huge opportunity for your emotional and spiritual growth.

5 Things to do during the Full Moon

1. Salt baths. It is common that we experience fatigue and/or unhealthy emotions during the full period. This period extends for 5 days. The day of the full moon, two days before and two days after. Help maintain your energy levels and emotional health by taking a salt bath. Energetically, the average table salt has cleansing properities to it. By taking a bath in two cups of table salt, soaking for 20 minutes, than rinsing off, you are helping to clean your chakras and organs of any dirty energy they might be releasing. This will result in improved energy levels and better emotional health. For anyone experience stress or unpleasant emotions, adding 10-15 drops of Lavender oil is very beneficial. Practicing purification before meditation will allow your system to absorb more energy.
2. Meditate in a group of 3 or more. The downpour of energy that is available to you in group meditation is far greater than if you are on your own. For example, when we meditate in a group of 7, it is the equivalent to 100 people meditating individually. This can also be done by ‘tuning’ in with a group meditation online. By joining a group you will also have more energy available for the following step.
3. Service & Blessing. While meditating during the full moon period, we can generate a tremendous amount of energy. Your system can only absorb so much at one time. With the excess energy generated make sure to direct the blessings to the following:
- the Earth, or any specific countries or people in need. Is there any places of political unrest, war, natural disasters that could use the extra blessings?
- your friends, family members and loved ones, business associates etc. Send energy to those who have hurt you in the past. Bless those in need of financial healing, good physical health, spirituality, harmonious relationships.
-your finances, health etc.
-any goals or projects. This a wonderful time for charging these up.
Directing excess energy is easy. Keep in mind we’re not using our own energy. Rather we are using the energy coming down through us. You can focus this energy by raising your hands to chest level, palms facing outwards. Make sure the elbows are slightly bent and there is a space in the armpits. Allow the energy to flow down through you, then out through your hands to whomever or whatever could use the extra help. Blessing is a great way to help improve the lives of others, but the key is, it has to be done consistently.
4. Be neutral, if you do notice that any negative thoughts, emotions or conflict coming up in your life during the full moon period, take note. Chances are its something that needs some attention and possible healing. Keep in mind, you are not the thoughts, emotions or negative habits. The Full Moon is good at amplifying these qualities with us, so use this period as a time of opportunity for your own growth and development.
5. Rest and take care of your physical body. The energy coming down at the time of the full moon can be very strong. For your body to handle the energy during meditation it needs to be in good health and physically fit. The stronger the body the better able to handle greater amounts of energy. Exercise, drink of lots of water, eat fresh food. Never underestimate these basic principles. They are important building blocks for our spiritual development.
Enjoy the full moon! Let it be a time of opportunity and make sure to use the energy to improve the quality of your life and others. Blessings!

Fab Fit n More thought for today:

People seem not to see that their opinion of their surroundings is also a confession of their Character.  That which you are dis-satisfied with on the outside is exactly what you are unhappy with on the inside... Make a difference today!

Fab Fit N More Thought for Today:

When you don't know what to do be still and listen to your soul, for there you will find the answers to all your questions. SIGNS are always there for us - but only if we CHOOSE to see them!

Fab Fit N More Thought for Today:

When you want to know what is the "right" choice, the "right" thing to do, turn within and listen to your feelings. You feelings are the truth in any situation you are having to make a choice about. We ask for guidance when we are faced with choices in life and yet when we "feel uneasy" about a choice but we choose it anyway. The consequences then follow and we are sad and distraught because it did not turn out the way we wanted it to. What I know about my inner feelings is that when I follow what I feel instead of what I want or think is the best choice, those choices have been positive in my life.

"Feeling is the language of the soul.

If you want to know what's truth for you, look at how you feel about it."

Fab Fit N More Thought for Today:

At some point and time we have all struggled with choices and decisions. We ask for signs to be shown to us and answers to come however when signs arrive and answers are given we choose not to see or accept them if they are not what we want. The signs are always there for THOSE who CHOOSE to see them. Our souls and feelings are the key to the answers we look for. Your soul talks to you and your feelings are the answers you seek. HONOR your feelings!

Fab Fit N More Thought for Today:

From Dr. Wayne Dyer:     There is NO Way to Happiness.... HAPPINESS is the Way!

We often think that when the desires of our hearts come to pass we will then be happy.

We wait till we get a raise, till the time is right, till the kids are grown, till we retire.... and then one day we wake up and we realize how many raises we did received and were not grateful for them, how many times opportunity knocked and we closed the door in its face, our kids are grown and gone and we were too busy working for the raise and waiting on a better opportunity, and we are finally retired and have time to think and realized -

life passed us by while we were busy waiting, working, and closing doors...
And we never were happy and grateful for the many BLESSINGS that came our way!

Take a moment today to reflect on and be HAPPY for the home you live in, the partner you have, the food you eat, the job you have, the kids you raised, the car you drive, the friends you have.... and BE GRATEFUL AND BE HAPPY EVERYDAY !!!

Fab Fit N More Thought For Today

From the Book THINK AND GROW RICH:

"An educated man is not necessarily one who has an abundance of general or specialized knowledge. An educated man is one who has so developed the faculties of his mind that he may acquire anything he wants, or its equivalent, without violating the rights of others."

The mind is a terrible thing to waste... Learn something NEW everyday and then put it to use!
Knowledge is nothing unless you PUT IT TO USE.....

Love n Light!

Fab Fit N More Thought For Today:

What OTHER people think of me is NONE of MY Business!!!

This is one of my favorite excerpts from one of the books of Dr. Wayne Dyer:
Long BUT WORTH THE READ! ENJOY!

Here are seven suggestions to help you transcend ingrained ideas of self-importance. All of these are designed to help prevent you from falsely identifying with the self-important ego.

1. Stop being offended.
The behavior of others isn’t a reason to be immobilized. That which offends you only weakens you. If you’re looking for occasions to be offended, you’ll find them at every turn. This is your ego at work convincing you that the world shouldn't be the way it is. But you can become an appreciator of life and match up with the universal Spirit of Creation. You can’t reach the power of intention by being offended. By all means, act to eradicate the horrors of the world, which emanate from massive ego identification, but stay in peace. As A Course in Miracles reminds us: Peace is of God, you who are part of God are not at home except in his peace. Being is of God, you who are part of God are not at home except in his peace. Being offended creates the same destructive energy that offended you in the first place and leads to attack, counterattack, and war.

2. Let go of your need to win.
Ego loves to divide us up into winners and losers. The pursuit of winning is a surefire means to avoid conscious contact with intention. Why? Because ultimately, winning is impossible all of the time. Someone out there will be faster, luckier, younger, stronger, and smarter-and back you’ll go to feeling worthless and insignificant.

You’re not your winnings or your victories. You may enjoy competing, and have fun in a world where winning is everything, but you don’t have to be there in your thoughts. There are no losers in a world where we all share the same energy source. All you can say on a given day is that you performed at a certain level in comparison to the levels of others on that day. But today is another day, with other competitors and new circumstances to consider. You’re still the infinite presence in a body that’s another day (or decade) older. Let go of needing to win by not agreeing that the opposite of winning is losing. That’s ego’s fear. If your body isn’t performing in a winning fashion on this day, it simply doesn’t matter when you aren’t identifying exclusively with your ego. Be the observer, noticing and enjoying it all without needing to win a trophy. Be at peace, and match up with the energy of intention. And ironically, although you’ll hardly notice it, more of those victories will show up in your life as you pursue them less.

3. Let go of your need to be right.
Ego is the source of a lot of conflict and dissension because it pushes you in the direction of making other people wrong. When you’re hostile, you’ve disconnected from the power of intention. The creative Spirit is kind, loving, and receptive; and free of anger, resentment, or bitterness. Letting go of your need to be right in your discussions and relationships is like saying to ego, I’m not a slave to you. I want to embrace kindness, and I reject your need to be right. In fact, I’m going to offer this person a chance to feel better by saying that she’s right, and thank her for pointing me in the direction of truth.

When you let go of the need to be right, you’re able to strengthen your connection to the power of intention. But keep in mind that ego is a determined combatant. I’ve seen people end otherwise beautiful relationships by sticking to their need to be right. I urge you to let go of this ego-driven need to be right by stopping yourself in the middle of an argument and asking yourself, Do I want to be right or be happy? When you choose the happy, loving, spiritual mood, your connection to intention is strengthened. These moments ultimately expand your new connection to the power of intention. The universal Source will begin to collaborate with you in creating the life you were intended to live.

4. Let go of your need to be superior.

True nobility isn’t about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than you used to be. Stay focused on your growth, with a constant awareness that no one on this planet is any better than anyone else. We all emanate from the same creative life force. We all have a mission to realize our intended essence; all that we need to fulfill our destiny is available to us. None of this is possible when you see yourself as superior to others. It’s an old saw, but nonetheless true: we are all equal in the eyes of God. Let go of your need to feel superior by seeing the unfolding of God in everyone. Don’t assess others on the basis of their appearance, achievements, possessions, and other indices of ego. When you project feelings of superiority that’s what you get back, leading to resentments and ultimately hostile feelings. These feelings become the vehicle that takes you farther away from intention. A Course in Miracles addresses this need to be special and superior: Special ness always makes comparisons. It is established by a lack seen in another, and maintained by searching for, and keeping clear in sight, all lacks it can perceive.

5. Let go of your need to have more.
The mantra of ego is more. It’s never satisfied. No matter how much you achieve or acquire, your ego will insist that it isn’t enough. You’ll find yourself in a perpetual state of striving, and eliminate the possibility of ever arriving. Yet in reality you’ve already arrived, and how you choose to use this present moment of your life is your choice. Ironically, when you stop needing more, more of what you desire seems to arrive in your life. Since you’re detached from the need for it, you find it easier to pass it along to others, because you realize how little you need in order to be satisfied and at peace.

The universal Source is content with itself, constantly expanding and creating new life, never trying to hold on to its creations for its own selfish means. It creates and lets go. As you let go of ego’s need to have more, you unify with that Source. You create, attract to yourself, and let it go, never demanding that more come your way. As an appreciator of all that shows up, you learn the powerful lesson St.Francis of Assisi taught:”…it is in giving that we receive.” By allowing abundance to flow to and through you, you match up with your Source and guarantee that this energy will continue to flow.

6. Let go of identifying yourself on the basis of your achievements.
This may be a difficult concept if you think you are your achievements. God writes all the music, God sings all the songs, God builds all the buildings, God is the source of all your achievements. I can hear your ego loudly protesting. Nevertheless, stay tuned to this idea. All emanates from Source! You and that Source are one! You’re not this body and its accomplishments. You are the observer. Notice it all; and be grateful for the abilities you’ve accumulated. But give all the credit to the power of intention, which brought you into existence and which you’re a materialized part of. The less you need to take credit for your achievements and the more connected you stay to the seven faces of intention, the more you’re free to achieve, and the more will show up for you. It’s when you attach yourself to those achievements and believe that you alone are doing all of those things that you leave the peace and the gratitude of your Source.

7. Let go of your reputation.
Your reputation is not located in you. It resides in the minds of others. Therefore, you have no control over it at all. If you speak to 30 people, you will have 30 reputations. Connecting to intention means listening to your heart and conducting yourself based on what your inner voice tells you is your purpose here. If you’re overly concerned with how you’re going to be perceived by everyone, then you’ve disconnected yourself from intention and allowed the opinions of others to guide you. This is your ego at work. It’s an illusion that stands between you and the power of intention. There’s nothing you can’t do, unless you disconnect from the power source and become convinced that your purpose is to prove to others how masterful and superior you are and spend your energy attempting to win a giant reputation among other egos. Do what you do because your inner voice always connected to and grateful to your Source-so directs you. Stay on purpose, detach from outcome, and take responsibility for what does reside in you: your character. Leave your reputation for others to debate; it has nothing to do with you. Or as a book title says: What You Think of Me Is None of My Business!

Fab Fit N More Thought For Today:

The CHOICES we make today DICTATE how we live TOMORROW

As we age we take an extra minute or two before we plunge into a decision because of past
mistakes we made and the consequences we had to pay for a wrong choice. If only we could instill this in our children so that they would not make the mistakes we have but instead learn from them. If you have children remind them that what they choose today will have a direct effect on their tomorrow. Encourage them to think about choices and if they need to talk be sure they know they can count on you. I have learned to sit still when I don't know what to do and ASK God & the Universe for guidance when I am stuck. Quieting the mind and meditating is a good way to be in touch with your inner being and subconscious mind and you will find that when you are still the answer you seek will come to you!!

Fab Fit N More thought for today:

NEVER give up on a dream that has been placed in your heart! Listen to your heart and follow where it takes you. Intuition is God's, the Universe, the higher power - no matter what YOU call it - way of speaking to you. In any situation your intuition tells you to go or to back away. Think about that for a moment... ever wonder why you misplaced your keys the very morning you had to be to work early only to find them 15 minutes later and when you do get on the road you see an accident that could have involved you! NEVER question why things happen but embrace that your higher power has your best interest and path covered.

Fab Fit N More Thought for today:

Tina Turner is one of the many people I admire. Her life speaks of perseverance, self growth, compassion, spirituality and wisdom. In 2013 Oprah interviewed Tina from her home in France. She made this statement: "To let REST the past and try something new is most difficult to do."
That statement made me think about the times I have held onto hurt and being unable to forgive. I recall feeling down and alone - unhappy. I realized that forgiveness is a release within that can change life tremendously. Go within and see if there is someone you need to forgive. Maybe its yourself? Write them a letter telling them how you felt, how hurt you were, why you felt the way you did and whatever else you need to say. Then read it aloud as if you were speaking to that person. End it with I FORGIVE YOU... Take the letter then and dispose of it. See if t releases a feeling of relief  in you. Let me know!

A good friend of mine created this Blog for me! She sent me an email this morning to tell me it was up and ready to go and that we would take care of the rest as it progresses! My first thought was oh no, what have I done? A wave of negative thoughts passed through my mind quickly as old habit patterns do and I responded with CANCEL CANCEL - This is where my passion is now! When I signed into my Facebook account I saw this post from Louise Hay! That was all the confirmation I needed to remove any doubt or fear in my mind about the path I am taking! Thank YOU Louise Hay for today's Affirmation and for the many years of teachings!!
